Scenes From Country Life - Five Chekhov's plays fused together
Eric Paterniani will be playing Tuzenbach from Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters in this new show by Roxana Kadyrova and directed by Rico Rosetti: five major plays are fused together in a unique reimagining of Chekhov's world, featuring scenes drawn from The Seagull,The Cherry Orchard, Ivanov, Three Sisters, and Uncle Vanya. The production spotlights defining moments for Chekhov's characters, before their dreams are forever shattered. We see Kostya Treplev when he still believes that he will be a famous writer; the Three Sisters when they are convinced that will soon move to Moscow; Sonya when she believes that her love for a country doctor will be reciprocated; and a collection of characters desperate for a moment when they can finally express themselves with complete honesty.
